Vintage Seventeen magazine covers

I'm a sucker for vintage clothing and memorabilia.
These Seventeen magazine covers are so fun to look at and compare!
I especially love reading the captions for each issue.
It's so interesting to see how much the magazine has changed through various eras.
But, it's also comforting to see that young girls in the 40s were interested in essentially the same things that girls are enthralled by today!

Wildfox Magical Creatures

Wildfox Couture has released a dream collaboration with Francesca Lia Block, one of my favorite authors. They collaborated with Francesca in the past, shooting a Weetzie Bat look book that was beyond perfect.
Their newest endeavor is a whimsical fairytale, written by Block, featuring three beautifully magical and different Wildfox girls: Cherie, the beautiful gypsy, Dahlia the elegant witch, and Ella the glittering fairy.
I'm in love! Which Wildfox girl are you?
I believe I'm most like Ella, I share her reservations and at times really need to push myself to believe.
I also love twinkling fairy lights and cupcakes with mounds of pink buttercream frosting.

Steal her Style: Corey Mason

Corey Mason is the sweet, girl-next-door from the film Empire Records.
Played by Liv Tyler, Corey has a stunning classic beauty, but a 90s grunge edge.
Straight As, Harvard bound, plaid skirts, and Dr. Martens.
Corey is everything a 90s teen gal aspired to be.
1. a cropped sweater
2. a bright red bra with a little lace
3. Harvard pride
4. a Nirvana cd to play while opening Empire
5. Dr. Martens
6. a modest-lengthed plaid skirt
7. vanilla cupcake for Gina
8. composition book for study notes
9. m&ms for cd selection
10. Rex Manning fan pin
11. a cold glass of Coca-Cola
