Carolyn Weber is an artist who is based in Michigan
but draws the majority of her inspiration from sunny Southern California.
Inspired by tall palm trees, coconuts, retro design, and all things summer--she calls herself a Wildfox girl at heart,
and truly radiates the brand's aesthetic through her feminine and whimsical pastels.
Primarily a portrait artist, Carolyn looks for female subjects who catch her eye.
She loves depicting expressions that she feels others can emotionally connect with.
Her Wildfox heart is drawn toward girls who glow from the inside out with their vivacious and flirtatious vibe. Additionally, she enjoys putting her own spin on fashion illustration,
and drawing fun food like soda pop, pineapples, and popsicles.
Currently, she is finishing up some pieces for her next show at Tangent Gallery in Detroit.
Each piece features food and is largely inspired by California.
Up next, she'll be collaborating with fashion photographer Irida Mete.
Their project is still a bit under wraps, but I have no doubt these two will wow us with the final product.
